THE DIVERSE POWER foundation
Diverse Power Foundation, Inc. is currently accepting applications for grants from community resource agencies in the Diverse Power service area. These grants are provided through the Diverse Power Foundation from funds provided by Diverse Power’s Operation Round Up®.
For grant applications and instructions, please visit www.dpfi.org. All grant applications must be received by January 27, 2025. Grant awards will be announced on April 25, 2025.
Community Grants
Diverse Power Foundation community grants support not-for-profit organizations that enhance the quality of life for residents of counties served by Diverse Power. The Foundation encourages grant requests for projects that offer programming or experiences that enrich the individual and strengthen the community-at-large.
Community Grant Applications
All grant requests must be approved and signed by the submitting representative and a corporate officer submitted to the Foundation. In addition, the grant request should include the following:
- Project Description (Including Itemized Budget Sheet)
- Project Goals and Objectives
- Cost estimates for equipment and contract work
- Project implementation plan and projected time line
- Page 1 of the most recent filed IRS 990 form
- List of reoccurring annual funding sources (if applicable).
Grant funds CANNOT be used for any salaries or fees
Grant awards will be announced to the organization by letter. The Foundation requires a follow-up letter confirming the implementation of the project and detailing any applicable measures of success. Grant recipients are required to make their approved purchase and requisition grant funds by March 31st of the year following the year in which the grant is awarded. Failure to requisition the grant monies by the deadline could result in forfeiture of the grant.
